Father William P. Foley, Pastor Email  Fr Bill Foley

Fr. Bill was appointed Pastor of St. Joan of Arc by Archbishop O'Brien on August 9, 2010.  He graduated from St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore and was ordained a Priest on May 17, 1974.  He is responsible for the overall spiritual care of the Parish community, including the administration of the sacraments, counseling assistance to persons in spiritual need, instruction in the Gospel and Church teaching.  He sees to the provisions for adequate facilities for the liturgical, educational and social aspects of parish life, and to their financial support.  It is his responsibility to maintain a sufficient staff and volunteers to accomplish parish objectives and programs.  He accomplishes this with the support of the Pastoral Council.  The priority of parish obligations, needs and long-range goals are determined by the Pastor with the cooperation of his staff, the pastoral council and parishioners.

 


Deacon Dan KopczykDeacon Dan Kopczyk

Deacon Dan graduated from Patterson Park High School in 1957.  He was employed at Maryland National Bank from 1957 – 1961.   Dan served in the Army from 1961 – 1964.   He was employed at General Motors 1965 - 2004.  Retired 2004.   Dan became a lector and later, Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in mid 1970's.   He was an Assistant to the Chaplin at old City Hospital in 1978 and at Franklin Square Hospital from 1979 - 1996.   Dan was responsible for the Elizabeth Ann Seton Outreach to the Poor in early 1980's.   Dan entered the Diaconate Program in 1979.  He was ordained September 17, 1983.   He served as Permanent Deacon from 1983 – 1996 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.  He transferred to St. Joan of Arc Church in 1996.   Deacon Dan takes pride in visiting the sick in nursing homes and hospitals in the area, with occasional house calls.   He also helps with St. Vincent de Paul Outreach and the usual diaconal duties at St. Joan of Arc.

 


Diane GlaseDiane Glase, Business Manager Email

Diane joined our parish staff in June 2003. Diane’s previous 21 year career of mainframe computer programming came to an end when she gave birth to her first child.  She now has 2 children and decided to return to work once both were attending school.  Diane and her husband, Chris, have been members of our Parish since 1994.  As business manager, Diane coordinates the day to day maintenance needs of our campus, takes responsibility for office administration, accounts receivables, and ministry scheduling.

 


Robin CarnivaleRobin Carnivale, Parish Life AdministratorEmail

Robin Carnivale has been at the parish office since September, 2005.  She coordinates all programs relating to evangelization for our parish and school community.  Robin works with Bereavement, Christmas Helping Hands, Health Ministry and St. Vincent de Paul among others.  Robin can be reached at 410-272-4535 ext. 14 or via email.   Please contact her if she can be of assistance.

 


Betty GillisBetty Gillis, Bookkeeper and Employee Benefits Email

Betty and her husband Allan moved to Harford County in 2005.  Before starting work at St. Joan of Arc, Betty worked for over 25 years as a staff accountant/bookkeeper for a variety of companies.  She graduated from Towson University in 1982 with a BS degree in Business/Accounting.  Betty and her husband of 40 years are active members of Milford Mill United Methodist Church.  In her spare time, she enjoys watching her 5 year old grandson, Joshua and is looking forward to watching her new granddaughter, Madelyn. Betty and Al reside in Belcamp.  

 


Dick BerndtRichard Berndt, Pastoral Associate and Director of Faith Formation Email

Dick became a member of the staff and a parishioner of Saint Joan of Arc in June 2005. He is a Maryland native and resides in Bel Air with his wife Mary.  Their sons are David, who resides in Massachusetts, and Erik, who lives in Columbia Maryland.  Dick was educated in Catholic schools and has a degree in Economics from Loyola College in Baltimore.  Following a long tenure in retail, Dick began a new career in parish ministry, having served for thirty years in several catechist roles as a volunteer.  Here at St. Joan of Arc, Dick is responsible for the parish faith formation programs from pre-school through adult.  He also directs the sacramental programs for Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.

 


Kevin Clemens, Director of Music Email kevin_clemens_11.jpg

Kevin joined the staff on January 1, 2011 coming to us from St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church of Severna Park where he served as director of liturgical music since 2006.  Previously, he served as director of music/organist for St. Ursula RC Church, joining the Archdiocese of Baltimore in 1991.  A native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, he has a B.S. in Music Education from The Pennsylvania State University and Masters in Sacred Music from Kent State University in Ohio.  Kevin is a member of the Baltimore Chapter of the American Guild of Organists where he has served as sub-dean and dean.  He holds the esteemed colleague certificate from this professional organization.  He is a member of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians and has served as chapter director of the local archdiocesan chapter.  He holds membership with the local and national chapters of the Organ Historical Society.  Kevin lives in Edgewood and shares his home with two Keeshonds, Otto and Johann.
