Sacrament of the Sick and Dying |
|
The Sacrament of the Sick and Dying was once called “Last Rites”. Those who are in grave condition often receive this sacrament. It has been expand to Catholics who have physical problems or undergoing an operation. It is offered during Mass on various occasions throughout the year and by appointment through the parish nurse or Pastor.

The practice of having a priest to offer Mass for a specific intention is a devotional work that has existed in the Church for centuries. Mass intentions are listed in our bulletin each week under the heading “Masses for Week”.

Children's Liturgy of the Word |
|
Usually on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, September thru May, at the 11:15am Sunday Litury, children of a young age (6-10) explore Sunday Scripture on their level through storytelling, song, and art. Participation is entirely voluntary as the children are led into the church hall prior to the First Reading. The children return to the church after the homily. We feel this program allows the children and older youth of our parish to be more involved in the liturgical celebrations and ministries of the faith community.

Baptisms normally take place the first Sunday of each month following the 11:15am mass. Baptism prep class for parents is usually held the last Monday evening of the month. Please call the parish office to make the necessary arrangements.
