Faith Formation

Teaching the Word of God is central to the mission of the Catholic Church. At. St. Joan of Arc religious community, the education mission encompasses Sacramental Preparation, Faith Formation, The Youth Ministry, and St. Joan of Arc Elementary School.

Richard Berndt is the Director of Faith Formation and Dr. Jane Towery is school principal.



Adult

To transmit Christ's message of salvation through the use of contemporary methods and language as well as Scripture and Church documents. The Faith Formation Program continues the mission of Jesus as Son of God, Servant and Savior of all; provides the opportunity to hear His message; and encourages active growth in the liturgical and sacramental life of the Church.

Sacramental Preparation

Sacramental preparation includes Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation--along with RCIA/RCIC--the reaching out to people who want to learn more about our Catholic religion.

Vacation Bible School

To engage family members of all ages in learning activities based on the scripture readings of the day's Mass.  The current sessions meet one Sunday a month during the summer after the morning Mass.  There are study groups for pre-school through adult as well as whole family activities.
