Baptisms normally take place the first Sunday of each month following the 11:15am mass.  Baptism prep class for parents is usually held the last Monday evening of the month.  Please call the parish office to make the necessary arrangements.

In order to receive the Sacrament of Baptism at St. Joan of Arc Church, the following basic requirements must be satisfied:

1. Parents must be active members of our parish for at least 4 months.

2. At least one godparent must be a Catholic in good standing at their church.  A letter stating that fact from their parish must be given to us before the baptism takes place.  Both Catholic godparents must provide letters from their parish.  One godparent, if not Catholic, must belong to a Christian faith.

3. The parents must attend a one hour class prior to the baptism.  This is not necessary if they attended the class during the previous two years.
