Making Kindergarten News in March 2010
We are trying to get back into routine with all our snow days. Centers are going very well. The students are working more independently and neatly. If they are doing their best work you may see J.M.J on top of their paper. This means they have done their best for Jesus, Mary & Joseph! I have seen a lot of very neat work!
We are excited to see, Seusical Musical, at John Carroll School on Thursday, March 4th! We have been working on rhyming words and reading a lot of Dr. Seus books this month. We also have been learning and acting out opposite words.
We are concentrating on our numbers and will begin our unit on time and money.
The Stations of the Cross have been a great way to learn about Jesus before he died on the cross. We have been reading a story called, "Benjamin's Box" that also tells the story of why we celebrate Easter.
We celebrate Derrick's birthday March 3rd and St. Patrick's Day March 17th. (Wear some green!)
March came in like a lamb, will it leave like a lion? We are predicting.
