There are two choirs in our Parish: A traditional and contemporary.
Traditional Choir
Purpose: To assist the worshiping community to pray as one in sung liturgical prayer. The Traditional Choir adds beauty and solemnity to the liturgy with music of a tradition nature.
The Traditional Choir Will...
1. Sing hymns, psalms, and anthems appropriate for the season at the Saturday 5:00 PM Mass.
2. Join with the Contemporary Choir on special occasions to enhance these celebrations.
3. Sing music of a traditional nature at the midnight Mass on Christmas Eve and at the Easter Vigil Mass.
Volunteers Are Needed To...
1. Become members of the Traditional Choir.
2. Attend weekly rehearsals.
Meeting Time: Wednesdays, from 7:30-9:00 PM.
No Rehearsals during July and August.

Contemporary Choir
Purpose: To help the worshiping community to pray as one in sung liturgical prayer. The Contemporary Choir adds beauty and solemnity to the liturgy with music of a contemporary nature.
The Contemporary Choir Will...
1. Sing and/or play music of a contemporary nature on Sundays at the 11:15 AM Mass.
2. Join with the Traditional Choir on special occasions to enhance these celebrations.
3. Attend practice sessions on a regular basis.
Volunteers Are Needed To...
1. Become members of the Contemporary Choir in a singing capacity.
2. Become members of the Contemporary Choir in a playing capacity. Instruments can include guitars, trumpets, violin, flute, and others.
Meeting Time: September through Pentecost, Monday Evenings at 7:30 PM; no rehearsals during July and August
