Deacon Dan Kopczyk
Deacon Dan graduated from Patterson Park High School in 1957. He was employed at Maryland National Bank from 1957 – 1961. Dan served in the Army from 1961 – 1964. He was employed at General Motors 1965 - 2004. Retired 2004. Dan became a lector and later, Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in mid 1970's. He was an Assistant to the Chaplin at old City Hospital in 1978 and at Franklin Square Hospital from 1979 - 1996. Dan was responsible for the Elizabeth Ann Seton Outreach to the Poor in early 1980's. Dan entered the Diaconate Program in 1979. He was ordained September 17, 1983. He served as Permanent Deacon from 1983 – 1996 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He transferred to St. Joan of Arc Church in 1996. Deacon Dan takes pride in visiting the sick in nursing homes and hospitals in the area, with occasional house calls. He also helps with St. Vincent de Paul Outreach and the usual diaconal duties at St. Joan of Arc.
Diane Glase, Office Manager 
Diane joined our parish staff in June 2003. Diane’s previous 21 year career of mainframe computer programming came to an end when she gave birth to her first child. She now has 2 children and decided to return to work once both were attending school. Diane and her husband, Chris, have been members of our Parish since 1994. As office manager, Diane coordinates the day to day maintenance needs of our campus, takes responsibility for office administration, accounts receivables, and ministry scheduling.
Robin Carnivale, Parish Secretary 
Robin Carnivale, the Parish Secretary for St. Joan of Arc, has been greeting parishioners and visitors at the door and on the telephone at the parish office since September, 2005. She helps our parishioners with scheduling special masses, providing duplicate sacramental certificates and with making arrangements for baptisms, weddings and funerals. As the parish secretary she prepares and distributes the weekly bulletin, prepares the monthly mass schedule, schedules all events in the church and hall, maintains parish sacramental record books, updates parishioner records and provides secretarial support for the Pastor and Staff. Betty Gillis, Bookkeeper and Employee Benefits 
Betty and her husband Allan moved to Harford County in 2005. Before starting work at St. Joan of Arc, Betty worked for over 25 years as a staff accountant/bookkeeper for a variety of companies. She graduated from Towson University in 1982 with a BS degree in Business/Accounting. Betty and her husband of 40 years are active members of Milford Mill United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her 5 year old grandson, Joshua and is looking forward to watching her new granddaughter, Madelyn. Betty and Al reside in Belcamp.
Richard Berndt, Faith Formation 
Dick became a member of the staff and a parishioner of Saint Joan of Arc in June 2005. He is a Maryland native and resides in Bel Air with his wife Mary. Their sons are David, who resides in Massachusetts, and Erik, who lives in Columbia Maryland. Dick was educated in Catholic schools and has a degree in Economics from Loyola College in Baltimore. Following a long tenure in retail, Dick began a new career in parish ministry, having served for thirty years in several catechist roles as a volunteer. Here at St. Joan of Arc, Dick is responsible for the parish faith formation programs from pre-school through adult. He also directs the sacramental programs for Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
Nancy Waligorski, Parish Nurse 
Nancy came to SJA in 2007 as the Parish Nurse. She was born and raised in Maryland. She attended and graduated from Church Home and Hospital, Notre Dame of MD, and Loyola Colleges. She has been a nurse for 45 years and is grateful for being able to come to SJA to serve the Parish in the capacity of a Nurse. Making visits to the home bound, nursing homes, and those in assisted living are among her favorite duties for the Parish. Attending to the Health of our community is a privilege and honor for her. Being a Eucharistic Minister and a Nurse is the best of all worlds.
David Dasch, Assistant Director of Music 
David has served St. Joan of Arc as Music Minister since 1994. His Bachelor of Music degree in Organ is from the Peabody Conservatory of Music. Professional Organizations include National Pastoral Musicians both local and national, American Guild of Organists also national and local, and The Organ Historical Society including the local Hilbus Chapter. Prior to this year he was responsible for the music at all Masses including the 11:15 am Contemporary Mass. He has been joined by Adam Koch, Assistant Director of Music. Adam now has responsibility for the 11:15 am Mass and we have split playing for the 8:30 am Sunday Mass. Presently David plays for the Saturday 5:00 pm Mass which includes the Traditional Choir.
Adam Koch, Director of Music
Adam Koch, Assistant Organist and Director of Music, is a junior at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where he is majoring in organ performance and early music. Before coming to St. Joan of Arc, Adam has served churches in the Baltimore area, Pennsylvania, and was the Assistant Musician at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Episcopal, NYC. Currently Adam resides in Baltimore City with his retired greyhound, Lilly and rescued cat, Clifford.
Ryan Jacoby, Information Technology
Ryan began working on computers for friends and neighbors at the age of 13. He built his first computer at the age of 16. He began his career in IT at Home Paramount Pest Control in 2001 as a network administrator and has progressed from there. He is currently in charge of all desktop and server operations and maintenance, not only for St. Joan of Arc, but for St. Ignatius, and St. Joseph as well.
