Springtime!
It is hard to believe that we are starting our last full month of school. This year seems to have flown by! As we head towards summer vacation, we have some fun activities that we will be completing.
We have started working on our "Family Life" books in Religion. We will be having open book reviews after each two chapters. The students have been enjoying interesting conversations thus far.

Exciting Projects
The students are going to participate in a scientific experiment to see if we can grow grass on a sponge instead of in soil. This will go along with what we are learning on our field trip. We are looking at the different parts of the local and national government in Social Studies and in Science we are learning about the Rainforest.

| Don't forget to continue working on Math and Reading calendars! May will be our last calendar to celebrate in early June.
Special Thanks
To Mackenzie, Grace and Shannon's family members who volunteered to help with our May projects!

Field TripOn May 13th, we will be headed out on our exciting field trip. The students are fired up for our wonderful plan. Thank you to the many parents who volunteered to join us. It is going to be a great day! Remember that on the day of our trip, the students should dress in their Gym Uniform and bring a brown bag lunch, in which everything can be thrown out.
