There are seven weekly sessions. Each session begins with a delicious dinner at 6:45p in the Parish Hall, followed by a video-based teaching and small group discussion. The sessions end promptly at 9:15p. Near the end of the experience, there is a day retreat to allow for more discussion and community-building.

Following Christ - A Journey of Discipleship designed to help those who have completed Discovery Christ to grow in their relatinship with Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through the grace of God by praying together, teaching and supporting one another in some of the basic disciplines and truths practiced by Christians since the early Church.
Sharing Christ - A Mission of Evangelization focuses on personal or friendship evangelization, sharing our relationship with Jesus in our daily encounters with people. The course helps to develop an attitude of the heart that moves us to be open to share the Good News we have experienced anytime and anywhere.
Catholic Ministry for Evangelization
ChristLife is a lay Catholic ministry established in 1995 in response to the Church's call to a new evangelization. They are an apostolate of the Archdiocese of Baltimore supported by Archbishop Lori. ChristLife's vision is to equip Catholics for the essential work of evangelization so that others might come to know personally the love of God through Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit, becoming his followers and members of the Church.
The ChristLife experience is split into 3 distinct 7-week series, each focusing on key issues of faith development and understanding. The first series, Discovering Christ, focuses on understanding the person of Jesus Christ and discovering the importance of his Resurrection. The second series, Following Christ, is concerned with the development of daily tools and practices that you can use to develop your faith and grow in the understanding of Christ as established in the first series. The third and final series, Sharing Christ, is all about empowering you to go out in to the world and share your experience of Christ with others, all while building your unique skills and talents and focusing them on a Christ-centered way of life.
Each year the Parish celebrates a sense of building community with the annual “OLD FASHION” parish picnic. This year the picnic will be held on the grounds of St. Joan of Arc Church on Sunday, September 24th. The picnic will begin with Mass at 11:15AM. Food will be served at the conclusion of Mass.
This year we are providing Pit Beef, Barbeque Chicken, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, and Salads. By popular demand, we will be having the dessert table so that a variety of desserts may be shared with everyone. Also, in addition to asking you to bring a dessert to share we ask that you provide lawn chairs or a blanket and drinks (soda, water, beer, etc.) for your family. (Water, ice and cups will be available.)
To register, please complete this form and return it to the parish office. We need you to print legibly the first and last name of everyone attending, including children. This registration form will also provide us with information on those who will volunteer to assist us that day. Some areas in which we could use extra help would be setting up before the picnic and cleaning up after the picnic. Please come on September 24th and share the St. Joan of Arc welcome!
If you have any questions, please speak with Lisa or Robin at the parish office.
